Acquia named web content leader
2016 was a great year for the Salsa Digital and Acquia partnership and we were thrilled when Acquia was identified as a leader (for the third year in a row) in Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant’ for web content management.
Gartner’s Magic Quadrants
Gartner’s Magic Quadrants provide a visual depiction of technology providers’ performances grouping them into four quadrants: leaders, visionaries, niche players and challengers. Providers are measured on their ability to execute (vertical axis) and completeness of vision (horizontal axis). More on Gartner’s research methodology.
Gartner produces these Magic Quadrants across a range of areas, from network services to web content management.
Magic Quadrant for web content management
Gartner released its Magic Quadrant for web content management in September last year, naming Acquia as one of the leaders in this area — and also very high in the right quadrant, performing well on both execution and vision. We’ve been working with Acquia for nearly three years now, leveraging the power of its optimised enterprise-grade Drupal platform stack, govCMS offering and Acquia Cloud Site Factory to build websites for our corporate and government clients. We love the product range, the open-source ethos and the way providers around the world contribute back into the Drupal community.
